A free art class was recently offered at the Commons by local artist Cordi Bradburn. It was attended by a number of our members who produced colorful and creative drawings of owls. Welcome! We're so glad you found this website. Note that it is still under construction. It has just recently been created and is undergoing frequent revisions. Please excuse missing, incorrect or absent information. And check back in soon....
We've got a new name!
Our old name: Leavenworth Senior Center. And now it's River Valley Commons. Why change the name? Because we want to let our community know that everyone is welcome to join in our activities in the historic and homey Masonic Building. It's a great way to meet old friends and make new friends by becoming a member of the Commons. Aside from Bingo on Fridays and the weekly lunch we offer on Wednesdays, we've added new activities including art and exercise classes for almost any level of fitness (see below). We hope you'll join in and bring your ideas for activities. Or even better - volunteer to lead or teach an activity!

Need help with yard work, clean-up or other basic property needs?
More than 20 churches from the Northwest Baptist Convention will be sending members to serve Leavenworth, Peshastin and Dryden areas on August 15. They will provide help with caring for your outdoor areas, such as yard work, gardening, clean-up, etc.

"The Commons"
Come and join us at our spacious, welcoming historic building, known as home to the Masonic Center and formerly the Leavenworth Senior Center. We are located at 423 Evans Street just behind the Clock Tower Building. There is members-only parking available for free. A barrier-free entrance to the building is available.
